Kazakh, Turkmen presidents had a telephone talk

ASTANA. March 30. KAZINFORM. President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has had a telephone conversation with his Turkmen counterpart Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov at the initiative of the Turkmen side; Kazinform refers to the President?s press service.

The heads of the states discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation, implementation of the perspective projects on construction of the Caspian gas pipeline and a railroad track from Uzen in Western Kazakhstan to Gorgan in Iran via Turkmenistan. The presidents agreed to hold a personal meeting within the framework of the summit of heads of the states ? participants of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea planned for April in Almaty.
