Kazakh, Ukrainian Foreign Ministers discussed coop development
ASTANA. March 15. KAZINFORM Secretary of State - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Kanat Saudabayev has had a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Konstantin Gryshchenko, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs.
The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues regarding further development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Ukraine in bilateral and multilateral formats. Besides, the meetings of the Presidents of both countries gave an impetus for further development of the interaction.
K. Saudabayev and K. Gryshchenko also discussed modern tendencies in the sphere of non-proliferation of nuclear weapons and strengthening of nuclear security at global arena. In this regard the importance of the upcoming Summit on Safe and Innovative Use of Nuclear Energy in Kyiv was emphasized.
The interlocutors then considered the process of preparation for the CIS Foreign Ministers Council which was scheduled for April 8 this year.
