Kazakh, Uzbek Deputy Foreign Ministers held consultations

TASHKENT. November 6. KAZINFORM /Kurmat Samarkhan/ Consultations between Kazakh and Uzbek Deputy Foreign Ministers were held in Tashkent on Friday, the Kazakh Embassy in Uzbekistan reported.

The main issues discussed at the sitting were agreements achieved during the negotiations of President Nursultan Nazarbayev and President Islam Karimov held in Tashkent this year.

The participants of the meeting discussed the preparation process to the OSCE Summit in Astana and its agenda.

Current level of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, prospects for its development, regional and international problems were also discussed at the consultations.

Upon the results of the consultations the sides expressed assurance that dynamically developing interaction between the two states would remain the basis for strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation in different spheres as well as stable and safe development of the whole Central Asian region.
