Kazakh Vice Minister of Science relieved of post

Kamil Akatov has been relieved of the post of Vice Minister of Science and Higher Education due to a transfer to another appointment, Kazinform News Agency cites the Government’s press service.

Born in 1991 in Zhambyl region, he is a graduate of the UAE and Kazakhstani universities.

Throughout his career, he worked for JSC “Kazakhstan center of public and private partnership” in 2015-2016. Afterwards, he spent six years holding various posts at JSC “National Information and Communications Holding “Zerde”.

Since January 2022 he has served as the Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “National Agency for Innovations Development “Qazinnovations”.
