"The forum discussed the problems raised by President Nursultan Nazarbayev in his keynote speech marking the very beginning of the event. Along with that experts touched upon such topics as integration in Eurasia. This is a huge continent that is a home to two thirds of the world's population and unites two economic blocks - Europe and Southeast Asia. Kazakhstan is situated on the crossroads of these two blocks and serves as a bridge for integration," Mr. Orynbayev said.

In his words, the forum brought together more than 200 experts, including former politicians from various countries. Ex-prime minister of Austria, ex-president of Bolivia, reps of the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Asian Development Bank and others were in attendance.

"The Kazakh Government will take into account all questions and proposals voiced at the Eurasian Emerging Markets Forum in the concept of Kazakhstan's accession to the 30 most developed countries in the world," Y. Orynbayev added.
