Kazakh Vice Prime Minister visits Khorgos International Boundary Cooperation Center
ORGOS. December 2. KAZINFORM /Sandugash Duissenova/ During his working trip to Almaty region Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev visited a checkpoint building of the International Center of Boundary Cooperation "Khorgos" in the Panfilov district of Almaty region.
The International Center of Boundary Cooperation is one of the biggest projects implemented at the initiative of the presidents of China and Kazakhstan.
The project is aimed at developing border trade, economic cooperation, scientific-technical and cultural interaction between the two countries.
It is planned to build 110 facilities totaling KZT 65 billion of budget funds in the territory of Khorgos Center.
