Kazakh wrestlers grab 6 medals at Korea Open International Wrestling Tournament in Sanju

The Korea Open International Wrestling Tournament wrapped up in Sanju, South Korea. Kazakh wrestlers pocketed six medals at the event, Kazinform News Agency cites Olympic.kz.

Elmira Syzdykova secured the gold medal in the 76kg weight category.

Aibek Aitbekov (60kg) and Dias Seitkaliyev (77kg) propelled to the Greco-Roman wrestling finals. Eventually, they suffered defeat in the respective final bouts, settling for silver.

Maksat Sailau (87kg), Temirlan Turdakyn (87kg) and Nurassyl Amanaly (97kg) collected bronze in their respective weight categories.
