Kazakh Zarina Diyas into qualifying final of Sony Open Tennis Tournament in Miami

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan's tennis player Zarina Diyas has advanced to the finals of the Women's Singles Qualifying Round of the 2014 Sony Open Tennis Tournament in Miami, Kazinform refers to Vesti.kz.

In the semifinals of the qualifying round the 20-year-old Kazakhstani faced Italian Camila Giorgi. Diyas routed world's №67 in three sets 7:4, 3:6, 6:1, totally dominating the last set.

To ease into the main draw of the tournament the Kazakhstani athlete will have to defeat Varvara Flink of Russia.
