Kazakh Zhibek Kulambayeva wins ITF W35 Lousada doubles in Portugal

Paired with Yuliya Hatouka (ranked 419th) of Russia, world No. 334 Zhibek Kulambayeva of Kazakhstan secured a victory at the ITF W35 Lousada in Portugal doubles, Kazinform News Agency cites Sports.kz.

The Kazakh-Russian pair defeated the duo of Polina Iatcenko (ranked 407th) of Russia and Hanne Vandewinkel (ranked 235th) of Belgium in the Women’s Doubles finals with a score of 6:3, 1:6, 10:4.

Earlier, in the Round of 16 singles, Zhibek Kulambayeva was upset by Katharina Hobgarski (ranked 379th)  with a score of 6:2, 6:0.
