Kazakh Zhukayev propels to Chengdu Open 2024 qualifiers finals

World No.197 Beibit Zhukayev of Kazakhstan beat Alejandro Moro Canas of Spain 7:6 (7:5), 6:4 in the men’s singles first-round qualifiers. Their match lasted 1 hour and 40 minutes, Kazinform News Agency cites the Kazakh Tennis Federation.

Beibit will take on world No. 174 Federico Agustin Gomez to advance to the main draw.

The 2024 Chengdu Open will take place at the Sichuan International Tennis Center in Chengdu, China, from 18 to 24 September. 

The Chengdu Open's total prize money this year is 1,171,655 US dollars. 

As earlier reported, the world’s top-ranking tennis players will compete in the ATP 250 Almaty Open on October 13, 2024.
