Kazakhstan 2050 Strategy debated in Turkey
It brought together Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkey Ali Kemal Aydin , CICA executive director Cinar Aldemir, Kazakh Ambassador to Turkey Zhanseit Tuimebayev, reps of the diplomatic corps, accredited in Ankara, ambassadors of Afghanistan, Norway, experts of research centres and institutions. In his address "New Eurasia and Kazakhstan" the Kazakh ambassador said, that Astana stand regarding the prospects for international cooperation relies on the well-considered foreign policy of Kazakhstan and startegic vision of the country's development outlined in Kazakhstan 2050 Strategy. In particular, he noted that at the first stage of the strategy until 2030 Kazakhstan intends to ensure dynamic growth of traditional branches of economy and create a strong processing industrial sector, the second stage will focus on ensuring sustainable development of Kazakhstan based on science-driven economy with powerful manufacturing industry. Mr Aydin highly appreciated Kazakhstan's attainments and stated that the further strategic development course was chosen timely against the global challenges and global economic problems. He also stressed that Kazakhstan and Turkey have common interests and positions on urgent global and regional issues, concerted position within international organizations, such as the UN, OSCE, OIC, CICA, Turkic Council. All those attending highlighted the important role of President Nursultan Nazarbayev in the establishment of independent Kazakhstan, his international and regional initiatives. A photo exhibition featuring Kazakhstan's achievements for the years of its independence, an exhibition of Kazakhstan's books translated into Turkish were organized within the conference.
