'Kazakhstan-2050' Strategy to make the country stronger: Kim Moon-soo

Governor of Gyeonggi Province in South Korea Kim Moon-soo has voiced his opinion as regards Kazakhstan's newly suggested development strategy.

According to Mr. Kim Moon-soo, it is very important to continue efforts for sustainable development. Development of ethnic, cultural and religious diversity which is of paramount importance in line with the strategy affects favorably both local society and international community.

Closer attention to the development of infrastructure and diversification of industry is also needed, the Governor of South Korean province says.

Kim Moon-soo thinks that conduction of the international exhibition EXPO-2017 and organization of the OSCE Summit in Astana is the reflection of recognition by the international community of Kazakhstan's capacity and readiness to contribute to the global development and security.

Food security, shortage of drinking water and energy security labeled by President Nazarbayev in his new address as the global threats are relevant and may serve as a guide for other countries, the Governor notes.
