Kazakhstan adds another silver to medal tally at ASBC Asian Elite Men Boxing Championships

Kazakhstani boxer Dulat Bekbauov clinched silver at the ASBC Asian Elite Men Boxing Championships 2024 in Thailand, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from Sports.kz.

Bekbauov succumbed to Uzbek opponent Muzhibillo Turssunov in the Men’s 67kg final bout. After the three-round fight, the judges gave the gold medal to the Uzbek athlete, while the Kazakhstani settled for silver.

It bears to remind that Dulat Bekbauov boxed his way to silver medals at the 2023 Asian Boxing Championships and 2023 World Boxing Championships.

Earlier Kazinform News Agency reported that Makhmud Sabyrkhan claimed gold in the 54kg weight class at the Asian Boxing Championships in Thailand, while Sanzhar Tashkenbay, Orazbek Assylkulov and Ablaikhan Zhussupov all collected silver in their respective weight categories.
