Kazakhstan along with N. Nazarbayev may joint top 30 countries by competitiveness
ASTANA. November 29. KAZINFORM "If President Nazarbayev continues his brilliant leadership then Kazakhstan may join not only the top 50 countries by international competitiveness but also the top 30," professor Tetsuji Tanaka, Executive Director, Central Asia and Caucasus Research Institute, said taking the floor at the first Nazarbayev readings "New Kazakhstan in the New World" held at the Nazarbayev University.

"Kazakhstan is the ninth largest country in the world and is located in the transport haven of the Eurasian continent. It is one of the world's largest producers of mineral resources. Kazakhstan is also a cradle of the Turkic people, which boasts long and unique history. If the President continues his brilliant and strong leadership against political democratization and bring up followers able to overcome the pressure of globalization then the country may achieve state goals to enter not only the top 50 countries by international competitiveness but also the top 30," he added.
