Kazakhstan Ambassador meets Chairman of Kazakh-Singaporean Interparliamentary Group
ASTANA. March 26. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador to Singapore Yerlan Baudarbek-Kozhatayev has met with Chairman of the Kazakh-Singaporean Interparliamentary Friendship and Cooperation Group-deputy Ahmad Magad, who heads the Budget Control Committee and the Government Parliament Committee on Labor, Kazinform refers to the Kazakh MFA?s press service.
Y.Baudarbek-Kozhatayev informed the other side of the main provisions of the Kazakh President? Message ?Through Crisis to Renovation and Prosperity? and a course of development of political and social-economic reforms in Kazakhstan.
Expressing satisfaction with progressive development of the Kazakh-Singaporean relations, A.Magad noted that interaction between the legislative bodies has big prospects. The Singaporean deputy, the Vice President of the Singapore Manufacturers? Federation, told about readiness to strengthen trade-economic relations. According to A.Magad, important directions of cooperation are promotion of the Singaporean innovations and interaction in the educational sphere.
As is known, the Singaporean structure of the Group was established at the beginning of March and includes outstanding political figures: the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Minister of the Environment and Water Resources Yaacob Ibrahim, Senior Minister of State for National Development Grace Fu, Senior Minister of State for Finance and Transport Lim Hwee Hua and Minister of State for Trade and Industry Lee Yi Shyan.
