Kazakhstan Ambassador meets Saudi Arabian Shoura Council Chairman
ASTANA. March 19. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Kairat Lama Sharif has held a meeting with Chairman of the Consultative Assembly (Shoura Council) of Saudi Arabia Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh. The Kazakh Ambassador extended a congratulatory letter of Kazakh Senate Speaker Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev on the occasion of the appointment of the Saudi Arabian representative to the high office; Kazinform refers to the Kazakh MFA?s press service.
The Kazakh diplomat appreciated the efforts of the Shoura Council Chairman in strengthening relations between the two countries in different spheres. In particular, being Minister of Justice of Saudi Arabia Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh made a great contribution to the expansion of bilateral cooperation and took an active part in the work of the Congresses of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.
The Kazakh Ambassador informed the other side of the course of preparation for the III Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Astana and expressed hope that the Saudi Arabian side will be represented at the forum at the highest level.
Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh noted that he plans to continue to actively participate in the consolidation of the Kazakh-Saudi Arabian ties. He became interested in the Kazakh Government?s policy in the ongoing crisis. Kairat Lama Sharif informed the Chairman of the main provisions of the Kazakh President?s Message ?Through Crisis to Renovation and Prosperity? and measures, taken by the Kazakhstan leadership to support the country's sustainable economic development.
