MINSK. March 15. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakhstan and Belarus intend to increase trade turnover to USD 1 million. Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov has said it today during the meeting with Belarusian Premier Mikhail Myasnikovich in Minsk.

'The opportunities that we have now, the work that has been done for the last six months, the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space in future let us fulfill the task - increase trade turnover to USD 1 million and exceed this mark later', K. Massimov said.

As M. Myasnikovich mentioned earlier the trade turnover between the two countries had made USD 850 million last year.

Karim Massimov said that Belarus was a quite industrial country with well developed agro-industrial complex. Kazakhstan also has all necessary conditions to establish joint enterprises. 'It gives more opportunities to strengthen our economies and make life of our people better,' he added.
