Kazakhstan and Indonesia boast high potential for cooperation

ASTANA. June 28. KAZINFORM Jakarta hosted a forum Kazakhstan-Indonesia: Cooperation for the sake of prosperity on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Indonesia, Kazinform has learnt from Kazakh MFA's press service.

Reps of the Foreign Affairs Minister of Indonesia, social, academic and business circles, the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and members of the Kazakhstan-Indonesia Business Council were in attendance.

At the event, the Indonesian side commended the role of the state visit of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Indonesia last year in the development of relations between the two nations.

Having noted Kazakhstan and Indonesia have achieved significant progress over 20 years, the Indonesian officials expressed confidence in further extension and strengthening of fruitful interaction. It was also noted that as regional leaders Kazakhstan and Indonesia boast high potential for the development of cooperation in many spheres.

A photo exhibition dedicated to the bilateral relations and achievements of Kazakhstan was held within the framework of the forum as well.
