Kazakhstan and its President - recognized international leaders in promotion of ideas of nuclear-weapons-free world, experts
ASTANA. December 22. KAZINFORM A photo exhibition "Kazakhstan: 20 years of independence - on the way of creation of the nuclear-weapons-free world" devoted to the anniversary of independence and efforts of Kazakhstan on constructing the nuclear-weapons-free world has been held in the Vienna International Center; the press service of the Kazakh MFA reports.
Heads of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Organization of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Vienna took part in the event.
The participants outlined importance of closure of the Semipalatinsk test site. According to estimations of the speakers, Kazakhstan and its President Nursultan Nazarbayev are recognized international leaders in promotion of the ideas of non-proliferation and nuclear-weapons-free world.
