Kazakhstan and Moldova ready to expand cooperation

Ambassador of Kazakhstan Almat Aidarbekov met with Mihail Popșoi, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova, Kazinform News Agency cites the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.

During the conversation, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan congratulated the minister on his appointment, and handed over a congratulatory letter on behalf of the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu.

The parties discussed the current issues and prospects of bilateral relations and noted the positive dynamics across the entire spectrum of cooperation. At the same time, the Kazakh diplomat acquainted the Minister with the main provisions of the ongoing constitutional, political and economic reforms in Kazakhstan.

In his turn, the minister said that along with the EU vector of the country's development, the Asian directions, including Kazakhstan, remain important and a priority. The opening of a diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan and the deepening of bilateral cooperation are put “at the forefront”.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue efforts to expand cooperation and agreed to maintain working contacts.
