Kazakhstan and Russia to discuss strengthening military-technical cooperation
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan Defense Minister Serik Akhmetov left for a working visit to Moscow, the press service of the ministry reported.
During the visit, S.Akhmetov will hold meetings with the leadership of the Military-Industrial Commission under the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, State Corporation "Russian Technologies". The talks will focus on further strengthening of military-technical cooperation, development of the military-industrial complexes of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation, implementation of joint projects for the armed forces of the two countries with modern armament systems and military equipment. S.Akhmetov will attend the II exhibition of weapons, technology and innovation "OBORONOEXPO-2014" and the final of the international competition "Tank biathlon 2014".
