Kazakhstan and S Korea to mark 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations establishment in 2012
ASTANA. November 10. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Next year Kazakhstan and South Korea will mark the 20th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations. Chairman of the Board of the Silk Road Foundation Jae Kuen Choi has announced at the II Korean-Kazakhstan Financial Forum.
"The coming year marks the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between South Korea and Kazakhstan. I believe that the current strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation in every sphere prepare basis for growth and development of both countries for the next 20 years," he said.
The Foundation Chairman noted that "Kazakhstan has great human resources, rich heritage in the sphere of culture and art."
"Besides, Kazakhstan demonstrates dynamical economic growth, is being a leading representative of Central Asia. Kazakhstan is an attractive partner for Korea," Jae Kuen Choi said.
Mr. Jae Kuen Choi added that the third financial forum which will be devoted to the anniversary will be held in 2012.
