Kazakhstan announces roster for 9th Asian Winter Games Harbin 2025 in China
The coaching staff of Kazakhstan's speed skating team presented the line-up of athletes, who would represent the country at the 9th Asian Winter Games Harbin 2025 in China, Kazinform News Agency cites Olympic.kz.
The roster of the national speed skating team was formed based on the results of the country's qualifying championships, which recently ended in Astana.
As a result, coaches led by Alexander Panfilov chose the following speed skaters: Nadezhda Morozova, Kristina Shumekova, Inessa Shumekova, Kristina Silaeva, Alina Shumekova, Arina Ilyachsehenko, Margarita Galieva, Daria Vazhenina, Mariya Degen, Vitaliy Chshigolev, Nuraly Akzhol, Bagdaulet Sagatov, Artur Galiyev, Roman Binazarov, Yevgeniy Koshkin, Altaj Zhardembekuly, Nikita Vazhenin, Vadim Yakubovskij, and Demyan Gavrilov.
The Asian Winter Games are set to run in Harbin, China on February 7-14.
It was earlier reported that the Kazakhstani speed skaters had won in the 4th round of the ISU Short Track World Tour in South Korea.
