Kazakhstan appoints Ambassador to Hungary

By a decree of the President of Kazakhstan, Abzal Saparbekuly has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Hungary, Kazinform News Agency learned from the Akorda press service. 

Abzal Saparbekuly was born August 6, 1975 in Kairat village of Zhambyl region. In 1999, he graduated from the Middle East Technical University in Türkiye.

He began his diplomatic career in 2000, as an assistant of Division for Near and Middle East, Maghreb and Africa of the Kazakh MFA International Cooperation Department.

From 2008 to 2011, he was Advisor to the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva.

From 2011 to 2017, he was Director of the Secretariate of the Turkic-Speaking States Cooperation Council, Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic-Speaking States Cooperation Council in Istanbul.

In 2017-2022, Abzal Saparbekuly was  the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Türkiye and Non-Resident Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Albania.

From 2022 to 2024, he helmed the Otandastar Foundation.

From May 2024, he was Ambassador-at-large of the Kazakh MFA.
