Kazakhstan assumes CSTO chairmanship

Kazakhstan has assumed the chairmanship of the CSTO from January 1, 2024, Kazinform News Agency reports. 

Notably, Kazakh leader Kassym-Jomart Tokayev proposed several priority areas to focus the Organization’s activity during the Kazakh chairmanship during the November expanded meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council in Minsk, Belarus.
