Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Turkey signed protocol on cooperation for transport development

BAKU. July 3. KAZINFORM Minister of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan Askar Zhumagaliyev, Minister of Transportation of Azerbaijan Ziya Mammadov and Turkey's Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Minister Binali Yıldırım have signed the Protocol on Cooperation in transport development sector within the first meeting of transport ministers of the Turkic-speaking states Cooperation Council in Baku.

In addition, the Memorandum between the ports of Aktau, Baku and Samsun was signed during the meeting.

According to the Turkish Transport Minister, the Memo will contribute to the coordination of ports' activities and their rapprochement.

Azerbaijani Minister of Transport noted that the ports play the key role in the sea transport development and that is why the cooperation is the priority.
