Kazakhstan beats Taipei, secures 2nd victory at 2025 U18 Women’s World Championships
The Kazakhstani women’s hockey team secured a confident victory 6-0 against Team Taipei at the U18 World Championship Division IIA held in Riga, Latvia, Kazinform News Agency cites the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan.
Zubkova scored her first goal for Kazakhstan less than 30 seconds into the game giving her team an early lead. She netted her second goal in the 18th minute. Kazakhstan’s Muravyeva scored three times in 12th, 26th and 55th minutes. Zhakulina scored a goal for Kazakhstan in 14th minute.
Earlier, Team Kazakhstan suffered a defeat from the UK, later maved on to win over New Zealand.
As reported, Kazakhstan will take on Australia and Colombia in Group D at the 2025 Billie Jean King Cup Qualifiers set to take place in April.
