ANA. October 20. KAZINFORM /Rassul Bakhamov/ Kazakh Senate Speaker Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev has told about Kazakhstan's achievements in the domestic policy and at the international arena at the opening of the Kazakh Eli monument in Astana today.

K.Tokayev noted that our country settled down to the course of the market reforms, and became an integral part of the civilized community of nations, approving itself as a mature, responsible and reliable partner.

Noting Nursultan Nazarbayev's merit as the Head of the State, the Senate Speaker said: "Today the world recognizes and respects great contribution of our leader to the nuclear disarmament, creation of the Asian security system, integration development and restructuring of the global economic order".

K.Tokayev emphasized that it is notable that Kazakhstan will be the first country of the post-Soviet space, Turkic-speaking world and Central Asian region, which will head the OSCE in 2010.

Because of it Kazakhstan is named a bulwark of stability and progress, and they talk about us as a country, which is successfully overcoming consequences of the global crisis, as a state, in which dominate interethnic, interfaith peace and concord.

The Speaker noted that the country and all Kazakhstanis face ambitious targets, including on modernization and industrialization of economy on the basis of the advanced technologies.

"Kazakhstan headed by its leader is preparing for a spurt into innovative future, where main attention will be paid to development of education, science, culture and healthcare", the Speaker noted.
