Kazakhstan & Belarus developing scientific military coop

ASTANA. September 13. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan and Belarus are discussing the issues of mutual scientific and technical cooperation in the defense industry, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan reports.

"Kazakhstan Engineering" Research Institute hosted a meeting between the institute's managers and the representatives of the State foreign trade unitary enterprise named "Belspetsvneshtechnika'' («BSVT») of the Republic of Belarus.

The parties have agreed on jointl research and production activities in respect of military output. Following the talks it was decided to sign a memorandum on cooperation in the military-industrial complex.

The Kazakh side was represented by Deputy Director General of the Research Institute "Kazakhstan Engineering" Amantay Dzhutabayev and heads of departments of the Research Institute. The Belarusian delegation consisted of the Head of advanced development Pavel Valahanovich, a leading expert on foreign trade department of promising developments Alexander Spekhov, a leading foreign trade specialist Department for Regional Cooperation Igor Rutkowski and the Defence Attaché of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Kazakhstan Colonel Vitaliy Koryachenkov.

Today there will be carried out a presentation of "Belspetsvneshtechnika" in "Kazspetsexport" Republican State Enterprise with participation of the representatives of all law enforcement agencies and departments to become familiar with the products of the Belarusian company.
