Kazakhstan Biathlon Cup kicks off in Shchuchinsk

The 2nd stage of the Kazakhstan Biathlon Cup is set to run in Shchuchinsk in the coming days, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from Olympic.kz.

Over 130 athletes will take part in the tournament.

The main feature of the tournament is that it is a qualifying tournament. The best biathletes chosen at the tournament will represent Kazakhstan at the IBU Youth Junior World Championship.

The 2nd stage of the Kazakhstan Biathlon Cup will end on December 28.

It was earlier reported that Kazakhstani biathletes Olga Poltoranina and Nikita Akimov had successfully performed at the IBU Cup in Obertilliach, Austria.
