Kazakhstan braces for blizzard and strong wind
Kazakhstan is set to be battered with blizzard and wind exceeding 30mps on January 3, 2025, Kazinform News Agency cites the National Weather Service Kazhydromet.
A cyclone from the parts of the Scandinavian peninsula is to keep unstable weather conditions in most Kazakhstan, bringing precipitation as rain and snow as well as heavy snow in the east at night.
Only the southwest of the country is to enjoy no precipitation. The country is to brace for fog, black ice and strong wind with blizzard as well.
Winds reaching 30mps and over are batter the west, north, east of Akmola, North Kazakhstan, west, north, south of Pavlodar and east, south of Kostanay regions.
Earlier, the Kazhydromet National Weather Service issued the weather forecast for Kazakhstan for January 2.
