Kazakhstan braces for cold snap this weekend

 Colder weather is expected to grip Kazakhstan this upcoming weekend, Kazinform cites Kazhydromet. 

Kazakhstani meteorologists forecast precipitation as well as fall in temperature for parts of the country on Saturday and Sunday.

Rainy weather is predicted for southern Kazakhstan, where rain will turn into snow in mountainous areas.

Temperature will dip as low as 0, 5°C at night in the north and center of Kazakhstan. Mercury will climb to +2, 12°C at daytime. Monday will see a drop in temperature to -3, +5°C.

Relatively warm weather will persist in western, southern and eastern Kazakhstan.
