Kazakhstan can be proud of what it has achieved: P. Flor

European Union Special Representative (EUSR) for Central Asia Patricia Flor told Kazinform correspondent in Brussels.
"I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate people of Kazakhstan on the Day of Independence. Kazakhstan has indeed achieved a striking progress. You have done a lot to develop your economy and stability allowing people of different nationalities to live together in peace. I think you can be proud of your achievements," she said.
According to P. Flor, throughout the years of interaction Kazakhstan and the European Union have built partnership relations enabling them to negotiate a new Partnership and Cooperation Agreement. Currently, the EU is the largest business partner of Kazakhstan.
"Your President is committed to further modernization and transformation of the country as well as diversification of economy. I believe we can work together in these spheres and also cooperate in such fields as rule of law, democratization, development of civil society, and attraction of investments to Kazakhstan. I see a lot of perspectives for our cooperation," European Union Special Representative for Central Asia concluded.
