Kazakhstan can count on France in joining the WTO: French FM

ASTANA. March 1. KAZINFORM "Kazakhstan can count on France's support in terms of accessing the World Trade Organization," Minister of Foreign Affairs of France Laurent Fabius stated at a briefing after the meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Yerlan Idrissov.

French Foreign Minister said his country also supported Kazakhstan in terms of a new agreement on strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and the European Union.

L.Fabius noted that various issues of regional security, where Kazakhstan and France took the same view, were discussed during the meeting with Yerlan Idrissov. In particular, the sides focused on the situation in Afghanistan.
