Kazakhstan-Canada economic coop discussed
ASTANA. March 31. KAZINFORM Today in the Ukimet Uyi Prime Minister Karim Massimov has held a meeting with ex-Prime Minister of Canada Jean Chretien.
According to the PM?s press service, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of the Kazakhstan-Canada economic interaction.
An exchange of views on impact of the global economic processes on Kazakhstan and Canada took place as well.
J. Chretien noted Canada was interested in development of the relations with Kazakhstan. He pointed out a number of conditions influencing the socio-economic development of both countries including geographical position, the territories, human and natural resources and structures of Kazakhstan and Canada economies.
The parties highlighted importance of further strengthening the economic cooperation between the two countries.
