Kazakhstan Center of Peace and Accord opens its doors in London

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - In pursuance of the decisions made at the XXI session of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan, August 26 London will hold the opening ceremony of the Kazakhstan Center for Peace and Accord, the press service of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan informs.

The center is designed to serve as an additional impetus to the promotion of the Kazakh model of interethnic tolerance and social accord in Europe, the strengthening of interstate relations, expansion of bilateral cooperation in the priority sectors of political, trade-economic, educational and cultural collaboration. The center's activity will focus on the development of scientific and educational clusters, grant-making for projects in the field of culture, language and education. It will provide involvement of British business in the development and implementation of science, technology and research projects. The opening ceremony will be attended by Deputy Chairman of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan - Head of the Secretariat Yeraly Tugzhanov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Kazakhstan Kagazu" JSC, member of the House of Commons of the Parliament of Great Britain Sir Tony Baldry, British investors, academics, representatives of companies engaged in collaboration in the framework of bilateral cooperation agreements.
