Kazakhstan China are for strong bilateral ties

ASTANA. March 17. KAZINFORM Today Chairman of the Majilis of the RK Parliament Ural Mukhamedzhanov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People?s Republic of China Chen Gopin at his request, Kazinform has learnt from the Chamber?s press service.

The Speaker congratulated C. Gopin on his appointment to the post of Ambassador and wished the Diplomat success in future work. The Majilis Chairman pointed out that the last year was notable for high dynamics of bilateral contacts which gave new impulse to cooperation in a wide range of issues. Kazakhstani side confirmed the intention to continue strengthening economic interaction. The parties also emphasized the high level of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Kazakhstan and China. The Majilis Speaker expressed interest in expansion of inter-parliamentary relations and noted active cooperation of Kazakhstan Parliament with the parliaments of 60 countries of the world. The Chinese Cooperation Group unites 24 parliamentarians. Chen Gopin expressed confidence in further development of the relations between Kazakhstan and Chinese Parliaments. The Diplomat expressed gratitude for the humanitarian aid provided by Kazakhstan for the victims of earthquakes in Sichuan. The parties exchanged views on the prospects of further Kazakh-Chinese cooperation.
