Kazakhstan, China sign set of documents boosting bilateral cooperation

Following the highest level talks, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Chairman of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping signed a joint statement, Kazinform News Agency reports citing the press service of Akorda.

As part of the Chinese President's visit, inter-party, inter-state, inter-departmental and commercial documents:

1. Memorandum of exchange and cooperation between Kazakhstan’s AMANAT Party and the Communist Party of China;

2. Road Map on implementation of the Trade-Economic Cooperation Program between the Government of Kazakhstan and the Government of China;

3. Agreement on technical-economic cooperation between the Government of Kazakhstan and the Government of China;

4. Memorandum of mutual understanding between the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan and the National Development and Reform Commission of China on expansion of the transborder railroad line between Kazakhstan and China;

5. Memorandum between the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Transport of China on mutual understanding and cooperation in establishment of innovative technologies and information systems and on the order of exchange of international road transportation permits;

6. Memorandum of mutual understanding on the promotion of development of cooperation in infrastructure and engineering construction between the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Commerce of China;

7. Memorandum of mutual understanding between the Ministry of Industry and Construction of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Commerce of China on strengthening cooperation in the field of strategically important materials used in clean energy technologies;

8. Agreement between the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Education of China on cooperation in teaching the Chinese language;

9. Memorandum of mutual understanding on joint establishment of the Luban Workshop between the Eurasian National Gumilyov University and the Tianjin Vocational Institute;

10. Protocol between the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan and the General Administration of Customs of China on veterinary and animal health requirements, set to cattle exported for slaughtering from Kazakhstan to China;

11. Memorandum of mutual understanding on cooperation in control and safety of mutually delivered goods between the Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan and the General Administration of Customs of China;

12. Memorandum of mutual understanding between the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan and the National Space Administration of China on cooperation regarding the International Lunar Research Station;

13. Memorandum of cooperation in radio and television broadcasting between the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan and the National Radio and Television Administration of China;

14. Memorandum of mutual understanding and cooperation between the RSE on the REM “TV and Radio Complex of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan” and China Media Group;

15. Memorandum of mutual understanding on establishment of a mechanism of cooperation on the development and increasing freight transportation on the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route between the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan and the National Commission for Development and Reforms of China;

16. Memorandum of mutual understanding on cooperation in compliance assessment between the Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan and the State Administration for Market Regulation of China;

17. Memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China;;

18. Memorandum between the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan and China International Development Cooperation Agency on mutual understanding and promotion of high-tech projects;

21. Memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan and China Media Group;

22. Memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Tourism and Sport of Kazakhstan and China Media Group;

23. Memorandum of mutual understanding and cooperation between the RSE on REM “TV and Radio Complex of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan” and People’s Daily of China;

24. Memorandum of mutual understanding between the Astana International Financial Centre and China Central Television (CCTV);

25. Agreement between the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan and Shenzhen University on cooperation in establishment of joint laboratories;

26. Agreement between the Non-Commercial JSC Kazakh National Agrarian Research University and China Agricultural University, Dayu Irrigation Group Co., Ltd., on establishment of a Kazakh-Chinese international laboratory on highly-efficient water use in dry areas;

27. Agreement between Non-Commercial JSC Kazakh National Agrarian Research University and Lanzhou University on joint establishment of the Kazakh-Chinese smart agriculture center.

28. Agreement on mutual understanding in the field of micro-satellite researches and talents upbringing between the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the Northwestern Polytechnical University of China;

29. Agreement between the Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University, Kozybayev University, Shakarim University and Northwest A&F University on joint establishment of the Kazakh-Chinese Centre of Agricultural Science and Education;

30. Contract for the provision of assistance in implementation of the project on equipping quality testing laboratories in Kazakhstan;

31. Framework agreement between the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan and China’s CNPC on further deepening of cooperation on strategic energy projects;
