Kazakhstan circulatory disease mortality fell by half

ASTANA. KAZINFORM "Circulatory disease mortality has decreased twofold in Kazakhstan since 2007," Healthcare Minister of Kazakhstan Salidat Kairbekova told at today's meeting in Astana.

"Back to 2007 a total of 81,793 deaths from circulatory diseases were reported the countrywide against 36,381 in 2013," the Minister noted.

According to her, the measures adopted for early detection of cardiovascular diseases and theways of their treatment let reduce mortality rates despite overall increase in patients with such diseases. It is noteworthy, the life expectancy grew up to 74 years. It allows to further project that the expected lifespan will hit 84 years by 2050 in pursuance of the President's instructions.
