Kazakhstan completed negotiations with EU on WTO accession
The Protocol on completion of the bilateral negotiations with Ecuador which was a member of the working group on Kazakhstan's accession to the WTO was signed upon the results of the negotiations in Geneva. Four rounds of bilateral negotiations with Ecuador on customs duties of Kazakhstan on several types of goods were held.
During the negotiations with American delegation headed by U.S. Trade Representative Christopher Wilson the sides completed negotiations on access to the goods market. The conditions for foreign suppliers of services in the field of transport, construction, professional services and education within the Kazakhstan's membership in the WTO were defined. The bilateral talks with the USA are planned to be completed by the end of the year.
The bilateral negotiations with the European Union were completed during the visit of the Kazakh delegation as well. To date the results of the talks with Kazakhstan were submitted for consideration of the EU members.
