Kazakhstan continues to keep petrol prices down - Minister
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan will continue to keep the petrol prices down after the adjustment of national currency in February, Minister of Oil and Gas Uzakbai Karabalin told Kazinform correspondent.
"We will continue to do so. The petrol prices will be preserved at the current level," Minister Karabalin assured. Earlier, the head of the ministry promised that there would be no petrol price hikes in Kazakhstan as local petroleum depots had ample fuel reserves. The petrol prices are held down thanks to local oil refineries that fully cover Kazakhstan's needs.
