Kazakhstan Contract Agency JSC, Caspian Meruert Operating Company B.V signed memo of coop

ALMATY.  November 20. KAZINFORM /Yekaterina Ionova/ Today within a visiting conference of Executive Secretary of the Energy Ministry in Almaty Kazakhstan Contract Agency JSC and Caspian Meruert Operating Company B.V. have entered into memorandum of cooperation.

According to Executive Secretary Kanatbek Safinov, representatives of Caspian Meruert Operating Company B.V together with Kazakhstan Contract Agency JSC have held a number of meetings with the participation of other companies regarding the issue of domestic content increase.

Following the talks a working group on fulfillment of obligations on Kazakhstan content at Zhemchuzhina deposit was created. The share of local content in the company's procurement was increased and a memorandum of cooperation was signed.

"I hope, Kazakhstan Contract  Agency JSC will find more domestic partners for foreign contractors of Caspian Meruert Operating Company B.V in order to attract local ventures to service work and master new technologies applied by foreign companies", Safinov saiod.
