Kazakhstan counts on coop with Latvia, Belgium, France, Finland, Mongolia and Georgia

sp;ASTANA. November 19. KAZINFORM. /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ Kazakhstan counts on mutually beneficial cooperation with Latvia, Belgium, France, Finland, Mongolia and Georgia. Today Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has received credentials of the ambassadors of these states.

"We consider Latvia as an important economic partner in the Baltic region. We have big potential of cooperation in the sphere of transport, transit, engineering, agriculture, information technologies, education and tourism", N. Nazarbayev said.

Президент РК принял верительные грамоты от послов зарубежных стран According to him, Kazakhstan is also interested in cooperation with Belgium and expects the visit of King Albert II. He noted that at the time of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the OSCE Belgium will chair the European Union. "We hope for close coordination of activities that will promote development of bilateral relations", the Head of the State emphasized.

верительные грамоты  During the ceremony of presentation of credentials N. Nazarbayev noted that Kazakhstan is interested in further development of relations with France. He stressed that the Interstate Commission "Nazarbayev - Sarkozy" is of paramount importance in this context. 

Finland is another perspective and important partner for Kazakhstan in  Europe. "I hope that opening of Finnish embassy in Astana will strengthen верительные грамоты mutually beneficial cooperation", the President said.

 Speaking about Mongolia the Kazakh leader told about intentions to enhance mutual interaction with this country. He expressed gratitude to this state for the support of the Kazakh Diaspora living in Mongolia.

"In September I sent congratulations to President Saakashvili in connection with opening of Radisson Hotel that was built with the participation of the Kazakh capital", N. Nazarbayev said.
