Kazakhstan, Czech Republic eye legal cooperation

ASTANA. November 23. KAZINFORM Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan Askhat Daulbayev paid a working visit to Prague to meet with Supreme State Prosecutor Pavel Zeman and Minister of Justice Pavel Blažek.

During the meeting the sides praised the achieved level of bilateral cooperation and discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest, including fight with crimes, the press service of the Kazakh Prosecutor- General's Office informs.

The meeting also focused on the preparation of the Treaty on legal assistance between Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic that is expected to give a new impetus to the bilateral relations.

Pavel Blažek highly estimated the role of the Kazakh Prosecutor- General's Office in implementation of the international legal policy of the country and assured that Czech Justice Ministry would bend every effort to speed up the signing of the treaty.

At the meeting with Pavel Zeman, the sides reiterated their readiness to continue cooperation in the spheres related to the provision of the regional security and counteraction to global threats and challenges.
