Kazakhstan Development Strategy till 2020 to be submitted for President's approval in month - Security Council Secretary

Noting that Prime Minister Karim Massimov made a report on the Strategy, M.Tazhin emphasized that this document is the result of the one-year work of the Government, international and Kazakh experts.
"This instruction was given by the President over one year ago, in the peak of crisis processes of 2008-2009. Despite all crisis, economically difficult problems we have faced, this document was created. I think it will play certain role", M.Tazhin said.
According to him, the Head of the State paid attention to that it is not only economic, but political-economic document, because it is the route to our future, our nearest decade. The President made several comments and the Council decided to further develop the Strategy for its submission for approval of the Head of the State in a month.
The issues on improvement of the Council's activity, strategy of the country's post-crisis development, preparation for the OSCE chairmanship in 2010 were discussed at the session of the Security Council.
