Kazakhstan doesn't accept development of military scenario in Yemen

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan doesn't accept the development of a military scenario in Yemen and supports a political solution as the only right way to resolve the crisis, RIA Novosti reported Apr. 8 citing Kazakhstan's foreign ministry, Kazinform refers to Trend.az.

The ministry said Kazakhstan, as a part of international community, expresses its concern over the escalation of international tension in the Middle East, including the situation in Syria, Iraq, Libya and Yemen.

"Our country is consistent in the support to the principles of respect for the territorial integrity, sovereignty and legally elected authorities," News Kazakhstan reported citing the ministry's statement.

Starting from March 26, an international coalition with the participation of Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries, as well as Egypt, Jordan and Sudan are holding in Yemen a military operation against the supporters of the 'Ansar Allah' (Houthis), who control most of the country, including the capital Sana'a.
