Kazakhstan earns 21st 2024 Paralympic Games quota

Sevda Aliyeva claimed second 2024 Paris Paralympic Games quota in shooting para sport for Kazakhstan, Kazinform News Agency reports.

As the press service of the Kazakh Tourism and Sport Ministry informed, Sevda will compete in R2 women’s 10m Air Rifle event.

The first Olympic license in was earned by Yerkin Gabbassov at the Para Shooting World Cup in Changwon, Korea in Men's 10m Air Rifle SH1.

Team Kazakhstan has already won 21 Paralympic quotas in eight sports competitions: para powerlifting (5), para athletics (3), para swimming (4), sitting volleyball (1), para table tennis (1), para taekwondo (3), paracanoe (2) and shooting para sport (2).

The XVII Summer Paralympic Games will be held in Paris from August 28 to September 8, 2024.
