Kazakhstan earns gold, silver at 11th Asian Age Group Championships in the Philippines

Kazakhstani swimmers got off to a good start at the 11th Asian Age Group Championships currently underway at the New Clark City Aquatics Center in Tarlac, the Philippines, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

For instance, Adelaida Pchelintseva of Kazakhstan was the first to cross the finish line in the 100m breaststroke event, earning gold.

Silver went to Kazakhstani Diana Taszhanova who was placed 2^nd in the 200m freestyle event.

Arsen Kozhakhmetov brought Kazakhstan its second silver medal at the championships in 100m breaststroke event.
