Kazakhstan ends work in OSCE Troika
TANA. November 28. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Kazakh Foreign Minister Yerzhan Kazykhanov will attend the 18th meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in Vilnius, Lithuania, on December 6-7; Kazakh MFA's official spokesman Altai Abibullayev told a briefing on Monday.
The issues of Lithuania's cooperation with Kazakhstan within the framework of the OSCE Troika, particularly the problems of Central Asia and Afghanistan, are on agenda.
"I would like to emphasize the historical and political importance of this event for Kazakhstan's foreign policy. This summit in Vilnius actually completes our mission within the framework of the OSCE Troika and the chairmanship in the OSCE Forum for Security Cooperation, in which we have consistently promoted a number of important international initiatives," Abibullayev said.
