Kazakhstan established diplomatic ties with 186 countries
Kazakhstan enjoys diplomatic relations with 186 countries, Kazinform News Agency quotes Senator Galiaskar Sarybayev as saying at the upper chamber’s session today.
The senators approved today amendments to some legislative acts of Kazakhstan on diplomatic service, international treaties and official development assistance.
According to Sarybayev, Kazakhstan has opened 109 missions in 71 countries. The country entered into 4,430 international treaties, 3,266 of which have already entered into force. In 2023, the list of visa-free countries was expanded to 82 for the holders of various categories of passports. 67 treaties were signed in eleven months of 2024, the senator said.
Earlier the senators ratified the Free Trade Agreement between the EAEU and Iran.
